run by the creative action network the project recovering the classics is a crowdsourced collection of original covers for the 50 greatest works of fiction in the public domain. all the covers will be paired with the contents of their books & be made available as ebooks, physical paperbacks printed by the harvard bookstore, or as museum quality posters.
the original specifications for the covers set dimensions at 5.7″ x 8.5″ & these have since been revised to 12″ x 18″. the original 50 titles has also been increased to 100, hence this updated & extended set of covers.
